Joseph DiMonte, Jr. is the founder of Planet Depos. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Joseph has been immersed in the court reporting industry throughout his entire life. Joseph received his B.S. in Business Management from George Mason University.

Joseph is passionate about customer service and can be reached personally by phone or by email 24 hours a day. Your emergency becomes his emergency. "I believe in being available to help my clients with any needs they may have regardless of where or when the need arises," says Joseph. William F. DiMonte

College: Northeastern University (Boston, MA) & Bond University (Queensland, Australia)

Also a Washington, DC area native, Bill remembers being surrounded by court reporting and legal videography since he was walking and talking. Bill is keenly familiar with every aspect of the operations, including scheduling, production, billing and videography.

Upon graduation from Northeastern University, Summa Cum Laude, Bill worked as a legal videographer and then transitioned into a client services role where he not only focused on local and national depositions, but also overseas depositions. “The nature of litigation is such that changes, cancellations, and last-minute needs are routine and we are well equipped to handle anything that might be thrown at us,” says Bill. “When you’re managing overseas depositions, you need to be available around the clock to take care of anything that might arise. I sleep with my Blackberry and always stand ready to take care of anything our clients need, at any time of day or night.”

Currently, Bill is responsible for client relations, transcript production quality control, accounts payable and human resources.

Nico A. DiMonte
High School: Good Counsel (Wheaton, MD)
College: Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ)

Nico, the youngest of the three DiMonte brothers, also grew up in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area before heading off to college. In addition to client development and relations, Nico manages the billing and videoconferencing services and is directly involved with every aspect of scheduling. Nico’s lifelong background in the court reporting industry has enabled him to learn every aspect of the day-to- day operations in the office. If you call Planet Depos with a question, chances are you’ll get Nico and he’ll find the answer for you. “I can arrange for depositions to take place in person, via telephone or videoconference anywhere in the world, even with short notice.” Nico loves popping into clients’ offices with goodies for the whole staff, so if you hear he’s there, you’d better check the kitchen before it’s all gone.
